That's a hard number to come up with given my small sample set of keeping track. I've tried to put all of the books I can remember since university days into GoodReads and that is 419 over about 25 years which is about 17 books a year, but the data since I've been on MobileRead and GoodReads and keeping track is:
2011: 52 books
2012: 83 books
2013: 63 books and counting
I think a number around 26 is probably realistic. A book every two weeks, depending on length and type of book.
