I've been a Kindle user since they first came out in 2007 and am heavily invested in the Kindle e-book format. I manage my library in Calibre and have stripped the DRM from all of my books so I can read them in the device and reading app of my choice.
I recently bought a Nook HD+ and was concerned that I'd have to convert Kindle books to epub and use a third party reader such as Aldiko or Moon+ but have found that the Kindle for Android app works great on my HD+ and has saved me the effort of converting them.
So far, the only thing I don't like about Kindle for Android is the way it handles graphic novels. Even though it supports panel view, it's sluggish switching back and forth from panel to page view, doesn't have any sort of zoom function other than panel view, and doesn't allow me to read in landscape mode.
