Hello all!

I was given a Canadian Kindle PW. It's not opened yet. There's no ads on it because that's only for US models. I have a PW for my US account. I'm fairly positive it's an International one because it has English, French, Spanish & Portuguese info on the back of it. I'm looking at my US box & the new one to compare.

Anybody know if a Canadian/International Kindle can be used with a US account? I'm thinking of selling it but don't want to if it can't be used with a US account. If it can, does this mean then that there are no ads on it if an American buys it for themself? And how can I tell if the serial number has been blacklisted or not? The person who gave it to me got it at an auction. A legit in person auction. It's still sealed. I just worry about it being marked as lost in transit and possibly useless for the next person. I obviously don't want that to happen.

Anybody have any ideas on this one? Thanks so much.
