You should not image your NST with a copy of another NST's image -- as each Nook's image contains its device specific data: MAC address, security certificate/key, etc.

Instead, you should try the methods #2 and #3 referenced in post #2 above to trigger a full restore of stock FW (which is backed up on every Nook).

If they don't work for some reason, and your NST is the older regular Touch (not a Glow) model, then you might want to try the method described at http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1475613.
