If that statement was directed at me, not even the most extreme rationale I presented for objecting to DRM and proprietary formats (presented, not promoted, mind you) fell within an order of magnitude of Stallman's stance. There are plenty of pragmatic and capitalist reasons why DRM wastes everyone's time and money.
