I love Cindy Gerard's Bodyguard, Black Ops Inc, and One Eyed Jacks series (though some of the books were a miss for me, these series overall are very good IMO).

Given the other authors you mentioned, you might want to give Kylie Brant's Mindhunters series a try. (I was not a fan of the first book, but liked 2-4. Haven't read the last two yet)
  1. Waking Nightmare [Sept 2009]
  2. Waking Evil [Oct 2009]
  3. Waking the Dead [Nov 2009]
  4. Deadly Intent [Nov 2010]
  5. Deadly Dreams [Apr 2011]
  6. Deadly Sins [Aug 2011]

Merline Lovelace writes a lot of military romantic suspense
  • Line of Duty [Nov 1996]
  • Duty and Dishonor [Oct 1997]
  • Call of Duty [Aug 1998]
  • The First Mistake [Apr 2005] (Cleo North #1)
  • The Middle Sin [May 2005] (Cleo North #2)
  • The Last Bullet [June 2005] (Cleo North #2)
  • All the Wrong Moves [Nov 2009] (Samantha Spade Mysteries #1)
  • Now You See Her [May 2010] (Samantha Spade Mysteries #2)
  • Catch Her If You Can [Jan 2011] (Samantha Spade Mysteries #3)
Some of her Onyx titles were slightly revised when she self-published them digitally, but no major changes. Also, the Samantha Spade Mysteries series is written in first person (all of her other books are third person).

Carla Neggers has several romantic suspense series out. My favorite is Sharpe & Donovan
  1. Saint’s Gate [Sept 2011]
  2. Heron’s Cove [Sept 2012]
  3. Rock Point [July 2013] (billed as a prequel novella, but I would recommend reading it after book 2 as it was published)
  4. Declan’s Cross [Sept 2013]
She's also got numerous stand-alone titles.

Nora Roberts has a lot of good romantic suspense. Stand-alones my favorites are
  • Homeport [Mar 1998]
  • Three Fates [Apr 2002]
  • Birthright [Mar 2003]
  • Northern Lights [Oct 2004]
  • Blue Smoke [Oct 2005]
  • High Noon [July 2007]
  • The Search [July 2010]
  • The Witness [Apr 2012]
If you like a touch of paranormal, there are several more plus her various trilogies to recommend.

Have you tried Linda Howard? She' no longer an autobuy author for me, but I have several of her early single titles on my keeper shelf (and now on my Sony, too).
  • Kill and Tell [Jan 1998]
  • Mr. Perfect [Aug 2000]
  • Open Season [Aug 2001]
  • Dying to Please [May 2002]
  • Cover of Night [June 2006]
I am waiting for her old Silhouette Intimate Moments Kell Sabin series to be released in digital but if it is one of the ones she's "updating" to be more appealing to modern readers I will not buy it.

Tami Hoag has become a straight suspense writer, but for romantic suspense you might like:
  • Still Waters [Nov 1992]
  • Cry Wolf [Aug 1993]
  • Dark Paradise [Apr 1994]
  • Night Sins [Mar 1995]
  • Guilty as Sin [Mar 1996]
Night Sins and Guilty as Sin are a series. While book 1 doesn't end in a true cliffhanger, it was awful waiting a whole year for the sequel (about a different couple, but continues the mystery subplot). Cry Wolf and A Thin Dark Line are loosely related, but can each be read as a stand alone.

For "lighter" romantic suspense, there's Jayne Ann Krentz
  • Deep Waters [Feb 1997]
  • Sharp Edges [Feb 1998]
  • Soft Focus [Jan 2000]
  • Lost and Found [Jan 2001]
  • Smoke in Mirrors [Jan 2002]
  • Falling Awake [Nov 2004]
  • All Night Long [Jan 2006]
These are her non-paranormal suspense titles. If you want some paranormal romantic suspense I can recommend plenty of her other books.

Shannon Curtis's McCormack Security Agency serries
  1. Viper’s Kiss [July 2011]
  2. Guarding Jess [May 2012]
  3. For Her Eyes Only [Nov 2013]

Also, if you don't mind category length, I would recommend Julie Miller's The Taylor Clan and The Precinct series. Merline Lovelace also has a number of SIM/SRS titles including her long-running Code Name: Danger series.

Those are all books I've read. I've got some new-to-me authors in my TBR pile if you need more.
