I love Cindy Gerard's Bodyguard, Black Ops Inc, and One Eyed Jacks series (though some of the books were a miss for me, these series overall are very good IMO).
Given the other authors you mentioned, you might want to give
Kylie Brant's Mindhunters series a try.

Some of her Onyx titles were slightly revised when she self-published them digitally, but no major changes. Also, the Samantha Spade Mysteries series is written in first person (all of her other books are third person).
Carla Neggers has several romantic suspense series out. My favorite is Sharpe & Donovan

Night Sins and

A Thin Dark Line are loosely related, but can each be read as a stand alone.
