I can't comment on Woot, but I picked up the 4.2 model the last time I was stateside, and it was also a refurbished item with 90 day warranty - so likely from the same base source.

I've been happy so far. Size and weight are great for me. If you particularly want it for music, go for the 4.2 model. It's supposed to have the better sounding digital audio source over the other two models, according to reading amazon reviews.

Since the 4.2 and 5.0 also have the same screen resolution, text will look much better on the smaller 4.2 screen. I was also pleasantly surprised at how large the system text is (like in gmail), I can read it without wearing my glasses, which is a plus for me.
