For text PDF, the Aura HD is fine. You can also read black & white comic strips like Calvin & Hobbs without any problem; however don't expect to be able to read full blown graphical books: that would be a large unpleasant pain.

The Aura HD is very good for reading romans. The screen is gorgeous, and the interface reactive.
