Never owned a Kindle. I wasn't specifically researching, but I had been keeping up with developments in the field, and we got Dad a Kindle for Christmas a few years ago.

Still, I wasn't moved to buy an ereader until I stumbled on the Jetbook. It's still doing everything I need -- except PDFs and comics. I've got tablets for them.
