I have bought plenty of books like Kindle books 8 one right after another for the same price and never have a issue. I think my card is a problem due to Kobo being in Canada even though the Transaction says US.
They say there is nothing they can do. The system denied the charges. On my end it says processing so I'm hoping that in the end it will get figured out. I told the three customer service reps at the cc company that I thought this was a stupid way of doing things. In a world of e-retailing without carts such as Amazon's e-downloads and Apple's iTunes store (where most songs are priced the same) they shouldn't automatically deny anything. I could see them putting the charges on hold after the third or fourth one and calling me to verify that they're valid but outright canceling them without a way of reversing it is just stupid. Tomorrow I'm calling other banks to find out what their policies are and I may just switch over this.
