I got the urge to "upgrade" from the B&N announcement. I looked at this update, and bought a Nexus 7 (2013) instead. I am *very* pleased using it for reading. It is a much more pleasant experience (for me, YMMV). The display is worlds better, as is the reading app (Moon+ in my case). Note: I read indoors.
