When I decided to get an ereader I understood it was about books and not about another device. I checked at the time and the best support for books with me in Mexico was Amazon. Therefore, it was a no brainer and I got a Kindle Keyboard. I have bought others since. I have enough inexpensive books waiting to be read that my children will be able to use the account without buying anything if they enjoy mysteries.
