I've never had any issues with 6 on mine. Got it the first day of release. But alas, Apple doesn't like my iPod anymore; so I'm stuck on 6.1.3. Since I use it for audio streaming and playback, I should be able to get several more years out of it. At home, it's my primary music and audiobook player.
