Well, I would feel worse if things worked well but let's see:
Their shipping notices for their devices suck (and when my Aura finally shipped the tracking number was completely wrong, not even the right format)
They no longer provide format info prior to purchase (something truly important to many in many cases)
I currently can't download books purchased which turned out to be adobe drm PDF
If I buy too many books my card stops working on their site for who knows how long (it can be hours or days)
Being unable to purchase from the device but able to do so from the website (or vice versa)
Bugs in the firmware

Hopefully this will make them aware that it is not okay to have half-functioning software.

As for someone losing their job... I don't think it would come to that but even if it did there is the important factor that a glitch of this magnitude is a serious failing and could be just cause whether or not people took advantage of it. It really should have never made it past the beta phase and never ever seen the light of day in a public release.

When Google Play accidentally put five or six Disney apps for free people took advantage of the glitch but it was fixed in less than twenty four hours. How long has this been going on? Oh, and the Google Play users got to keep the apps, none of that "the app was removed from your account since it wasn't supposed to be given out freely."

Even though I think that the glitch could constitute just cause I don't believe anyone should be fired (as it would most likely be a case of scapegoating considering how many people are involved in the process and checking and such, only if the person in charge of the website actively ignored reports of the glitch and there was documentation). Although reprimands of some sort would be in order.
