That's interesting, but it looks a tad cumbersome. I'll have to see just how this Apple case works out for me. It looks as if the only difference between the Apple case and the Apple cover is that the case is a cover that includes protection for the back of the device. If that's the case (no pun intended), and if the backing proves easier to grip than the bare metal, I may keep the backing, buy some leather, and make a sleeve.
