I'm asking about this on behalf of my wife who has the Kobo Touch.
On the device I use to read Ebooks I can go to a specific page from a menu option.

You make a valid point. But I don't recall it coming up before until you mentioned it. Perhaps it could be a made as a suggestion for a "wanted/needed Feature"
