This is truly a matter of taste (not the customer service, of course.) For me, the UI is something that Kobo got right. Kindle, Sony, and now from the looks of it, the B&N offering all have similar looking UIs. To me, all of them are very unattractive and part of the reason I did not chose one of these products.
