I just emailed Kobo company with two photos attached to my complaint. Hope they will solve the problem. Photo 1511 shows the brightness I usually use for reading in the dark. 1510 is 100% brightness. Not sure if the picture and a computer screen will show the yellow color. It becomes obvious and distracting after 20 seconds of reading when the eyes get used to the screen.
Edited: 7) Problem solved. Kobo service admitted the issue and will send a new device and a pre-paid mail bag.
