On the other hand, the reason I bought it was because I wanted to read it immediately, so I guess that's okay. If it was still on the TBR mountain, I'd be bummed at having bought it at the higher price.

I'm so glad to hear you liked it! I love her Mackenzie series, and this was on my TBB list, but I hadn't gotten around to making the purchase. It seems to me that a lot of books are going on sale a little after being released at full price, so waiting has become my default unless I just can't wait to read it. It
would have been a real bummer to still have it on your TBR if you'd bought it at the higher price!
