The second kindle paperwhite 2 has 3 pin holes and yellowish. The holes are so bright even in low light setting, so I asked for a replacement.
The third one arrived yesterday is the best one. No pin holes, the screen is whiter than the other twos.

So you are counting the one that needs the battery to be charged every other day as a good one? I guess it has come to that with the Paperwhite 2.
I wish I did not sell my Paperwhite 1 back to Amazon, but they gave me $125 for it so I figured that I might as well get the Paperwhite 2.
