Glue some velcro to the back of the Aura, and to his palm? That'll leave his thumb free to navigate...

I read one handed with the Glo all the time, but your mileage, like your hand size, may vary. Frankly, it is not the most comfortable method. I find myself holding it with two or three fingers behind the Glo, with it resting on my pinky(and/or ring finger) which leaves my thumb free to flip pages or assist the grip as needed by placing it on the bezel...

OTOH, what is so great about reading one handed?

It may sound silly to some, but a few properly shaped depressions on the back where one might grip with the fingertips by squeezing them together would be pretty handy for a one handed grip.
