holding a "naked" Aura with a single hand: possible?

I am helping my husband decide between an Aura and a Kindle PW2 (well, I do know what I'd like him to buy). I know one of the most important things for him is for the device to be small, but he is used to a Pocketbook 360, which has buttons and a lot of space to rest your thumb. He hates the idea of a cover.

He saw a review comparing Aura and PW2 which specifically mentioned that it is hard to hold the Aura in one hand.

Does any of you Aura users have difficulties holding the device with one hand and without a cover? Any tips?

(I am thinking of adding a strap at the back or something similar, but if there is any solution that involves no modifications/craft work would be preferable).
