Yes, it's too "clean", it doesn't look "olde" -- there are other fonts out there that do look "olde" (Caslon Antique, for example), but there's just no other font that I've found that works as well as these JSL fonts.
I appreciate your efforts to help look, but I suspect that you're invariably just going down the same paths that I've already explored -- and the thing is, I'm happy with what I've done, it's finished and over with, and I can't see the point in re-doing it all only to make it all look
less nice. :/
