I tried this by checking the website (not being logged in) with my local address in Taiwan and then by using a US based VPN server to compare prices. I should add that I mostly read non-fiction. The prices are often the same for fiction. Just reminding people to check to make sure when they switch countries. A discount doesn't help much when the base price is much higher!
