I agree. The reading in dark scenario really puts different kind of pressure on the e-ink reader, be it frontlit, backlit or clip-on/case-light lit. A lot of the concerns I have are specifically to do with reading in darkness where the only light is the reader's.

So far in darkness $69 Kindle (K4B) with it's official lighted cover has been the best, least eye-taxing solution for me.

I'm yet to replace my PW2 with two pin-holes/specks and a majorly crooked screen, but I will once I get around to it.
