My next test was a conversion from azw3 back to azw3, and once again I sent a copy to the PW2. Once again no freezing on the PW2. I am glad that is all resolved and I do not have to contact CS.

Glad to hear that it worked. I thought it probably would, but it's nice to have a theory confirmed by experiment
