Historical fictions by male authors normally deal with wars, battlefields or politics which are not my cup of tea. I am trying to be specific so that people who don't have much time to browse through every single thread can just click on a topic if they find it fit their taste. In general I don't browse through threads with just "historical fiction" since majority of the books will be about wars/naval/military battlefields.

By the way, could some mods please delete the thread if you find it offensive? I just try to help.

Thanks Mimosa. I do not read historical fiction and was not aware of the distinction. The only one I've read was the Terror which was not about war or politics. You could lift the Amazon UK requirement though, as this is an international forum.
