Great--thank you so much! You'll see a lot of the older Gothic literature, Otranto, Vathek, even a bit of Udolpho, in this work--though I try to modernize it a bit. I hope it doesn't disappoint you. I love Gothic literature and often teach classes in it, so this is my attempt at what I 'think' a Gothic novel is. But you're a better judge than I am at this point, as I've spent way too much time writing, re-writing, and re-reading it to know what the #@$#$ it is. Thanks again!
