So, boot in Safe Mode with Networking. Go to Control Panel, Programs, try to uninstall Calibre and get a message the Windows Installer Service could not be accessed.
Also, zero System Restore points to go back to.
An hour on the phone with Microsoft Support and $99 later and I still have a computer that can only boot up in Safe Mode. Not acceptable.
Any and all advice/help would be appreciated!

Calibre is NOT a boot time program.
You would still
need to Logon to Have it start and that would be IF YOU had added Calibre to the startup folder (not a standard Calibre install)
