It would be worth checking what was in your.
/etc/upstart/wifid.conf file.
(assuming you can connect via ssh)

Hmmm... okay. just hooked up my 4 and note that it doesnt use Upstart hehehehe.
ooookay then.scratch that idea.

EDIT:
/opt/var/local/system/wifid.conf ? - Nope nothing helpful...
/var/local/system/wifid.conf - meh no.

I'm having a hunt around...
