Durn, but that sounds complicated.

Since the Kindle Paperwhite Generation (1) can be jailbroken and has good add-in support, perhaps we should just stick with what we know.

Although Amazon no longer sells the Gen(1) paperwhite, that does not mean they are not available:

Although production is down to 2,000 a week, they are not (yet) 'dead and gone'.
