Well after all that we've been doing to fix this problem of mine I think we have did it. I even went into Control Panel and programs and ran a fix problems on Calibre. Not sure if that is what did it or not but I got to looking over everything again and found that my NookHD + was listed as a camera under my computer. I opened up the storage and unchecked the camera and checked the other one. I don't see those designations now when I'm looking but I believe it was under storage management. Now Calibre is recognizing my Nook HD + and I have been able to transfer all my books onto the sd card.
Thank you soooo much for all the help. Between everyone I believe it is fixed. I am so relieved.
