If I'm reading on the iPhone without my glasses I use just one eye and close the other, mainly because I have to hold it so close that it's hard to get both eyes on the screen.
I'm kind of messed up anyway, because I've always been left-eye dominant, but as I've gotten older, it's that eye that's deteriorated faster, so I've ended up switching eyes.
