Hello,

I have a strange problem following the update towards 1.7.0 (see attachments). This message appears with the starting of calibre. The message is in french and say : ERROR : wrong place of the database. If one looks at the name registered in the way, “\xe8” replaced the character “è”. Perhaps do I have make a fault in my translation of calibre on launchpad??? If it is the case all my apologies !!!
If I return to the previous version of calibre 1.6.0, all is in order.

Any idea?

Edit : \xe8 is for unicode ???
