Well, my enthusiasm lasted less than 5 minutes. First I turned off pressure sensitivity, then I found out that palm recognition creates problems with periods, accents and commas, which may be ignored. Noteshelf is normally pretty good at that and I never have problems with disappearing dots. So palm recognition is more trouble that it's worth. It doesn't really offer much more than the standard solution (a palm rest area that moves down automatically as you write) since I mostly just write one line after another and don't go back very often to correct or annotate previous writings.
So I guess I'll just go back to using my Wacom bamboo pen with Noteshelf, and try justifying the 100€ purchase by using the creative stylus with Procreate once in a while.
In a word, it's now confirmed, I wasted 100€. Oh well.
