I did really enjoy the book. I think it would have been the perfect read for my challenge next year, something topical by the author of the country. I'll just have to find another from Bookpossum's list.

If you want one about Aboriginal/European relations or lack of them, probably David Malouf's
Remembering Babylon. It's on my TBR list so I can't recommend it from having read it, but he is a fine writer so I am sure it will be good.
