RIP. He's been one of my "must read" authors (his fiction, anyway) for a long time. Unlike many, I don't mind the coauthor books. I like the Dune extensions, I like the Bourne series post Ludlum. No, they aren't "as good", but they are still entertaining to me.

I'll keep reading the Jack Ryan Jr. books as I'm sure they will continue to be written.
