I also find 5.9" too large, but there is a market for these phones - the Note was ridiculed when it came out, but now phablets are a significant portion of the market and we have the top manufacturers offering some variant of a phablet, with the exception of Moto (though rumour is they have one in the works). There seems to be more interest in Asian countries though, and I also see some bias towards the female population for these phablets.
