This, more or less. While I never knit, garden or drive (I do eat though), I always have a reading device on me or with me.

I read at work, during quiet times. There are usually somewhere between several and many of those, so at times I can get through a couple of hundred pages. Since I work long shifts I have lots of time off and when I'm off I'm rarely busy, so at times I read the whole day, for several days in a row. Otherwise I read in cafés, in waiting rooms, while waiting for the bus, while sitting on a bench in the park or a log in the woods.....

I pretty much read whenever I'm not doing anything else and have always done so.
