A new process will have to be put into place then Kobo will need to email the authors and publishers to go through the new method and accept the new terms. It will probably take a couple weeks to get everything back to normal.

The thing is this is about Kobo covering their rears. If they put safety measures in place and then someone passes them that person is in violation of Kobo rules and Kobo can't be held as accountable. Being in trouble with the government is a big deal so I can understand the drastic measure.

In the long run this will be a good thing but the growing pains of it will make it harder on us for awhile who do buy from Kobo.
