I've checked all the settings, there is a Normal/High setting on the volume and I have it on High. I've selected the proper region. I think some audio files from Overdrive are just like this. I have a friend who uses a Sansa also, and she gets a lot of audios from Overdrive and she runs into the same problem. Some of them are so low she says she can barely hear them even with earphones.
