When I called Kindle support about the issue they just said they would tell the Kindle devs about the problem and call me back when they figured it out. It's been almost a week with no calls. I did send them another e-mail that said they were still working on it, but if they couldn't figure out a solution they would send me a replacement.
I do have a few other small niggles with the PW2 so I would like a replacement, but I'll contact them again next week to see what's up.
