I *never* pay this much for a book but I liked the sample and am now reading it. R Lee Smith is my writing twin. Her style is how I write. I finished Immortals After Dark (13ish books) and am now reading The Last Hour of Gann. It'll probably take me a couple of weeks to read as I have limited time but it is good and it's a nice break from paranormals.
