Now I found this thread:

I tried the Quality Check plugin ("Fix" -"Check an repair book sizes"), but it doesn't work (V1.98 with Calibre 1.6).
For example a file with now 8 MB is still shown with 115 MB, but the plugin says "All book format sizes are correct".
