@kovidgoyal The reason for exempting the Duplicates books as a group, is to exclude them from being reported the next time Find Duplicates is run. So to remove the exclusions, which can be done with the Find Duplicates Remove Selected exemptions option, would defeat the purpose of excluding them.

Given that Find Duplicates predates the new Mark Books feature I see this as a shortcoming in the Mark Books feature, see also ==>> https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...8&postcount=17
