so I got round to testing this.

1st time round my kindle threw a complete wobbler... (webreader went crazy

)
so I simply unmounted (via ssh)
umount /etc/xdg/awesome; killall -9 awesome

and ran the

/mnt/us/extensions/fronter/arch/mount.sh
via ssh

seemed happier.
no, it didnt, kept dying on me... hmm

Will test more but I like this solution.
