I doubt reality is as bad as 20%. I'm sure average user is not so discerning as enthusiasts on a forum like this.

Future suggestion for the poll: third option to those who kept the device without being perfectly satisfied. That would have been my answer with PW1, as the hassle and fear of getting even a worse one have kept some people at less than perfect but good enough units. I have seen the same here with PW2, people keeping units with small defects they can live with.
That would have been my answer with the PW1 too. I kept mine even though it had color hues and a glowing speck. It was simply the best one I received and I really wanted a lighted reader as I do a lot of my reading at night.

This poll also isn't really accurate as early on some people voted for the first option even though they exchanged theirs due to defects. This was due to some confusion with the way the poll was worded.
