I think that link (wikipedia's guide to Regions of the World) provides pretty good division, except maybe I personally wouldn't bundle Australia and New Zealand with Oceania.

Also this division of Europe as Central, Eastern, Northern, Southeastern, Southern, and Western is pretty much the way to go.

Btw, Europe alone has 50 countries. How on earth will you manage everything I don't know. But I wish you good luck.
