tl;dr 78% of Americans read at least one book in the previous 12 months: 32% read 1-5; 15% read 6-10; 26% read 11-50; and 5% read over 50.

On the article itself, I tend to agree that it doesn't really make sense to lump e-readers and tablets together, in the same way that it doesn't make sense to lump computers and e-readers together.
