There are two Cloud Service providers under consideration:
NiLuJe is working with a Cloud Service provided by "his" hosting company. (OpenStack {Swift} API)
I am working with a Cloud Service provided by "my" hosting company. (OpenStack {Swift} API and Amazon S3 API)
Nobody has mentioned that they are working with the Amazon S3 Cloud Service. (Which Amazon uses for its distributions.)
I am not all that sure distributing Kindle Hacks using the Amazon S3 Cloud Service is a "good idea (tm)".
On the client side of the story - -
#1 Nobody has a pre-built binary for the Kindle (surprise, surprise

).
But to be long-term useful for the distribution of Kindle packages, a "Kindle Klient" is highly desirable.
#2 Known clients (any of which **might** be portable into a Klient version):
OpenStack Swift API:
https://pypi.python.org/pypi/python-swiftclient
NiLuJe is working with the desktop version of this one.
OpenStack Swift **and** Amazon S3 API:
http://cyberduck.ch/
*A: This one hasn't been built for Linux
*B: It is Java, so might be possible to port
FTP and Amazon S3 API:
http://www.crossftp.com/
*A: There is a Linux build ( Yeah! )
*B: It comes in "free, feature limited" and "for purchase" editions.
*C: It is also a Java application
*D: I don't find the sources, only the binaries.
*E: The 'free' edition does not have any management features.

Any other, OpenStack {Swift} API, clients known by our readers - please describe and provide links in this thread.
